Trilogy Jewellers, Mayfair
A private appointment at Trilogy Jewellers on Davies Street offered a refined and genuinely enjoyable Mayfair experience, directly opposite Claridge's.
The interior blends marble surfaces, glass displays and chrome accents with leather seating and wooden desks, creating a contemporary yet comfortable setting. We were welcomed by expert, discreet staff and guided through the collection at an unhurried pace before sitting down to handle several exceptional watches. Discussion covered history, craftsmanship and practical advice on when to wear specific pieces, delivered with clarity and enthusiasm.
The visit concluded at Claridge’s with carefully sourced lager, sparkling and still water, where conversation on collecting and lifestyle continued. Seamless, engaging and highly recommended.
Dining on the River Thames
Barge East is a floating restaurant and bar in Hackney Wick set aboard a restored Dutch barge, serving seasonal menus centred on sustainable, hyper local produce, much of it grown in its own gardens. It is around 15 minutes from London City Airport by taxi and 25 minutes by train. With canal side views, indoor dining and expansive outdoor seating, it is ideal for brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks, and private gatherings. Skuna Saunas
A floating wood‑fired sauna experience moored in Canary Wharf, offering a Scandinavian‑inspired wellness ritual with dry heat up to 90 °C, a rooftop cold plunge pool, changing facilities and refreshments in the heart of London’s Docklands. It runs year‑round with 60‑minute shared sessions, private group sessions are welcome, with bespoke options arranged by contacting the booking team.
