Editorial Policy
PrivateAviation.online
Effective: 21/07/2025
An editorial platform sponsored by Flightbag Ltd.
1. Purpose and Editorial Vision
PrivateAviation.online exists to elevate, inform and inspire excellence across the private aviation sector. We showcase design, operational standards and the identities of FBOs, private charter firms, and aviation-adjacent brands through the lens of progress, experience, and high service culture.
Our editorial is created for both industry stakeholders and private passengers who seek to understand, navigate and trust this refined global sector. Our mission is to curate meaningful insight, commentary and sponsored content that reflects the best of private aviation, while remaining fact-led, respectful and forward-thinking.
2. Editorial Principles
Industry positive: We highlight innovation, success and growth.
Passenger-aligned: We aim to improve visibility and informed choice.
Collaborative but independent: We retain final editorial control in all cases.
Constructive, not exposé: We do not publish rumours, speculation or sensationalism.
Verifiable: All editorial must meet a verifiable factual standard prior to publication.
3. Editorial Oversight
All content is reviewed by a three-person internal committee including the Editor. The Editor holds final approval and decision-making authority. Contributors must have a minimum of five years’ demonstrable industry experience in private aviation or adjacent luxury sectors. When writing in an official capacity, contributors must confirm approval from a department head, HR, or senior leadership.
4. Content Development & Source Verification
All editorial is independently researched and fact-checked using trade press, official documents, interviews and publicly available data. Leadership of featured organisations may be contacted for verification, background or commentary. No editorial will be published without giving the subject entity a minimum seven-day opportunity to review for factual accuracy and context. Formal objections to content will be considered, though acceptance of editorial changes is not guaranteed.
5. Sponsored Content & Collaborations
Paid editorial will be considered where a business is undergoing verified transformation (merger, acquisition, major contract, global expansion, etc.). Our editorial team will shape content to reflect both the client’s message and its relevance to the wider ecosystem. Sponsored or partner-produced content will be labelled accordingly and may be declined if it does not meet our standards. Frequency of advertorial content is limited to ensure editorial integrity. Articles without staff writer participation are labelled “Sponsored” in clearly visible but non-intrusive type.
When editorial content includes a design project by a contributor identifying independent craftspeople or suppliers, those third parties may be offered sponsored advertorial opportunities independently of the contributor. All such content will be clearly marked as “Sponsored” and subject to the same editorial standards.
6. Editorial Tone & Challenges
Our tone is progress-driven and discreet. Known or documented sector challenges may be acknowledged with input from leadership teams involved. Speculative, anonymous or unsubstantiated complaints will not be published. We focus on constructive dialogue and solutions that benefit both passenger and operator.
7. Corrections and Amendments
Corrections will be reviewed and amended once verified. Correction requests from individuals or companies named in articles are accepted. General commentary or informal feedback will not receive a response.
8. Withdrawal, Retraction and Ownership
Contributors or featured companies may request withdrawal of an article up to 48 hours before scheduled publication or upload. Once live, a 72-hour visibility period must pass before withdrawal requests are processed. We operate a Remove-on-Request policy, subject to these conditions. All submitted content (text, images, video or other media) is deemed assigned to PrivateAviation.online for publishing, editing, promotion and archiving. Archived or promotional copies may be retained permanently for compliance and record-keeping, even after removal.
9. Image and Media Rights
Contributors confirm they hold usage rights or have secured appropriate permissions for submitted media. Submitted media becomes the property of PrivateAviation.online for editorial, promotional or syndication use unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to crop, resize or adapt media to fit publication format.
10. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Contributors must disclose material financial or personal relationships with the subject of content. Disclosures will be acknowledged in a clearly visible but non-intrusive manner within the article. Attempts to withhold conflicts may result in withdrawal and revocation of contributor privileges. Where editorial leads to inclusion of third-party craftspersons or suppliers via sponsored advertorials, original contributors have no involvement with that commercial content, ensuring editorial impartiality.
11. Editorial Labelling
Editorial: Co-produced or authored by our team and meeting full editorial standards.
Sponsored: Partner-provided content with no editorial input, labelled clearly but non-intrusively.
Partner Insight: Native advertising tone reviewed by editorial team, clearly contextualised as partner-led.
Visuals and titles will not mislead readers as to the nature of the article.
Standard Disclosure for Craftsperson Advertorials:
This article is a paid advertorial produced independently of the original editorial feature. The contributor of the original project had no involvement in its creation, approval or content.
12. Contributor Standards
Contributors must demonstrate at least five years’ experience in relevant industries. When representing an organisation, permission from HR or senior management is required. All content must be original, accurate and compliant with applicable laws. We reserve the right to edit, postpone or reject submissions that do not align with tone, standards or legal duties.
13. Monitoring and Enforcement
All published material is reviewed for ongoing compliance. Repeated breaches (factual, ethical or legal) may lead to permanent removal of author or content. Serious cases may result in legal action to protect platform reputation or rights.
14. Social Media & Sharing Policy
Only official PrivateAviation.online and partner-verified accounts may share or promote editorial content officially. Quotes and headlines may be used only if attributed fully and not misleading in context. Repurposing, re-editing or partial reproduction without permission is prohibited.
